This bridge was built around 1900 and was washed away about 1942.  It allowed access to the old Navigation Mine from the other side of the river. The bridge is very similar to the one at Doverage, again 1.8m (6 feet wide) and approximately 120 feet span. I’m grateful to Keith Lewis-Jones for sending me a photograph of the abutments today – which we didn’t find during our search for the site.
