This impressive bridge in northwest India was erected by Turner, Hoare and Co.  A photographic record of its erection formed the basis of their publication ‘Suspension Bridges in India’ published around 1900 (see Building a Harper Suspension Bridge and Appendix 3 of River, Railway and Ravine).  The bridge is presumed to have been over the R.Mahi, where one was taken down in the 1970s.
